How we see the workshops being
organised.
· First, we will ask each host town to produce a template of questions about the subject under discussion for their first workshop, that they will circulate to all of the partners. The questions will ask what problems or issues or challenges that the partner town faces in this particular subject. (s’hertogenbosch will be sending their template to all partners dealing with their topic of "Conservation- Protection and Enhancement", very soon).
· When these templates have been completed and returned to the host town, the host will use them to create the agenda for the workshop, so ensuring all the issues (as far as possible) are addressed and advice produced which will then form the resulting best practice guide.
· All main partners will identify and send 2 of their own experts in the subject under discussion, to each workshop throughout the "Archway" programme, (the supporting partners will send just one expert representative). The host town can bring as many of its own experts to its own workshop as it wants. David Bruce will be there to advise and help with the editing of the outcomes.
· The outcomes will will then be worked on by the host town with assistance from David Bruce, in the time between the two workshops, so that when all of the experts come together at the second workshop, they can pull together and agree the content of the best practice guide.
· On a practical note, the host town will arrange (but not pay for) the reservation of hotels, places to meet and maybe a meal or something during the three day period of each of their two workshops ( first day for arrival and introductions, second day for work...third day for finishing tasks, if necessary and departure).
